Zhihu favorites pile up fast and answers get edited, folded or deleted. SyncX keeps the full text of everything you favorited or upvoted — formatting, images and code included — in a library on your computer.

Set it up once.

Sign in to Zhihu
Use the dedicated SyncX window in your installed Chromium browser, or explicitly import an existing Zhihu login.

Pick favorites and upvotes
Every favorites folder syncs on its own, together with your upvotes and your own answers and articles — every 12 hours by default.

Search, revisit, export
Find an answer by any word in it, its question or its author, read it with headings, lists and code intact, and export results as JSON or CSV.

Signing in
SyncX keeps only Zhihu’s login cookie from the dedicated SyncX profile or an explicit import, and reads your lists through Zhihu’s web API. Your everyday browser session is never read on its own.
Media
Images in answers and articles are saved locally by default; covers stay online. Videos inside answers are kept as links.
Current limits
Zhihu does not say when something was added to a folder, so folders keep Zhihu’s own order. Zhihu can limit access for a while; SyncX then waits and tries again later. Pins and videos keep their text, images and link only.
Questions
Can I export my Zhihu favorites?
Yes. SyncX copies every favorites folder — full answer and article text, author, images and link — to your computer, and any filtered view exports as JSON or CSV.
What if an answer I saved is deleted?
If SyncX synced it before, your local copy stays, including its images. Answers Zhihu no longer shows are marked as unavailable.
Does SyncX collect my upvotes?
Yes. Upvoted answers and articles are collected with the time you upvoted them.
